I have spent several days over the past few weeks photographing rehearsals for “The Vagina Monologues” in Temecula. The provocative play is coming to our town for the third time in as many years.
Director Patti Drew and her cast have come up against strong opposition to the production, especially during its first year. I decided to pursue a photo project about the play because of the controversy surrounding it.
Writer Ashley Cook joined me at one of the rehearsals and wrote a piece that ran in our paper this week.
